2. Information We Collect
- Account data: username, email, profile details, settings, moderation status.
- Gameplay & usage data: session logs, progress, items/credits, interactions, device/app version, timestamps.
- Device & technical data: OS, device model, unique identifiers (e.g., IDFV/Android ID), IP address, language, crash logs, diagnostics.
- Payment data: purchase receipts/tokens and transaction metadata from app stores (we do not receive full card data).
- Support & communications: messages you send to support, reports, feedback, and metadata.
- User content: text, images, and other content you upload or generate in the Service.
- Cookies & similar technologies: small files and SDK signals used for session management, preferences, analytics, and fraud prevention.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (core functionality, gameplay, saving progress).
- Process purchases and subscriptions; verify receipts; prevent fraud and abuse.
- Moderate content, enforce rules, and protect the safety of users and the integrity of the game.
- Communicate with you (support responses, service announcements, changes to terms/policies).
- Improve the Service (analytics, crash diagnostics, testing new features).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
- Contract: to provide and operate the services you request, including account functionality, gameplay features, purchases, and customer support.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent fraud or misuse, ensure the proper functioning of the Service, and improve features and performance—only where these interests are not overridden by your rights and expectations.
- Legal obligation: to comply with laws and regulations that apply to us (e.g., tax requirements, payment rules, consumer protection, and record-keeping obligations).
- Consent: where required by applicable law (e.g., optional cookies/SDKs, analytics tools, or marketing communications). You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. Analytics & Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies in our websites and SDKs in our apps for essential functions, analytics, and to prevent fraud/abuse. Where required by law, we obtain consent for non‑essential cookies/SDKs. You can manage preferences through your device or browser settings and (if provided) in‑app controls.
- Analytics & diagnostics: to understand usage and improve stability/performance.
- Do Not Track: our websites may not respond to DNT signals; use in‑site controls where available.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for the duration of your account, and as required by law (e.g., tax and accounting). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data in accordance with our retention schedules.

10. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to/limit certain processing. - Singapore (PDPA): you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or ask about our data-handling practices. We will respond in accordance with the PDPA. You may lodge a complaint with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
- EEA/UK: you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell personal information; you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive data.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your OviPets account at any time from within the app or by following the steps described on our Deletion Account page. If you have questions or encounter issues, you can also contact us at support@ovipets.com.
12. International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process information outside your country of residence (including to Singapore, the EU, the UK, and the United States). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., in‑app or on our website) and update the “Last updated” date above.
